Bagpiping!

The Celtic Fest is THE place to hear the stirring sounds of pipe bands and drummers, and learn a little more about this significant aspect of Highland history and culture. A number of bands will perform throughout the day. At the end of the day, stay tuned for a Gathering of the Bands, where they'll play in sets and in union.

The Celtic Highland Festival brings you the stirring sounds of bagpipes and drums - and a big taste of the culture of the Highlands - with performances all day by Midwestern Pipe and Drum Bands. Scheduled to appear are Turlach Ur Pipe Band, Celtic Cross Pipe Band and the Blackhawk Pipe Band. The pipes are calling at the 12th Annual Celtic Festival and Highland Games! After performing separately during the day and in the Parade of Tartans at noon, the bands will play together in a special gathering.
