the Celtic Highland Games, You’ll Find 14 Hours Of Celtic Events
. . . Rain Or Shine!
You find plenty of family-friendly fun. See competitions in Scottish athletics, bagpiping and dance. Visit with Celtic heritage societies on clan row, enjoy workshops, or shop and eat your way through Vendor Row. American food is on sale, too. Rounding out the day are family crafts, storytelling, music and dance performances, historic re-enactments, animal herding and animal displays, and more! Don’t forget to stay for the Blue Cat Ceilidh (party), which offers a full evening of band performances.

Competitions go on most of the day. Please note that it’s impossible to predict specific event times within the Scottish Athletics competition, as it’s dependent on the number and classes of athletes. The Massed Pipe Bands and awards runs at about 5 p.m. The Blue Cat Ceilidh (kay-lee), a traditional party with music and dancing, starts at 6 p.m. and runs until midnight (or until the pipers go home!)
